General Overview
Metal fabrication is the process of cutting, bending, shaping, assembling, and finishing metal components into final products or structures. It covers everything from simple brackets to complex welded assemblies and structural frames.
Robotic welding uses automated programmable arms equipped with welding torches to join metal parts. It’s ideal for repetitive, high-precision welds with consistent quality and reduced human error, especially for medium to high production volumes.
Services Offered
We provide end-to-end custom metal fabrication services, including:
- Laser cutting & plasma cutting (through partners)
- Sheet metal bending & rolling
- Tube and pipe fabrication
- Manual and robotic welding
- Machining of fabricated components
- Assembly and finishing
- Jig and fixture development
Yes. We fabricate:
- Light gauge components (1–5 mm sheet metal)
- Medium and heavy structures (up to 25 mm thickness for mild steel)
Robotic Welding Details
- High weld consistency and repeatability
- Faster production for repetitive jobs
- Lower cost per unit in volume runs
- Reduced distortion and rework
- Improved safety and less fatigue for operators
We use multi-axis robotic arms equipped with MIG welding systems, supported by programmable fixtures and quality control systems.
Ideal parts include:
- Repetitive brackets or frames
- Tubular assemblies
- Agricultural and mining equipment
- Furniture and shelving systems
- OEM sub-assemblies
Parts should have repeatable positioning, weld joint accessibility, and be free of large variations.
Materials & Welding Capabilities
- Mild steel (black steel)
- Stainless steel (304, 316)
- Aluminum (5000 and 6000 series)
- Galvanized steel (with proper preparation)
- Brass & copper (limited)
- MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding) – Fast, strong, suitable for mild steel and aluminum
- TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) – Precise, clean welds for stainless and aluminum
- Stick (SMAW) – For structural or outdoor applications
- Spot welding and tack welding – For sheet metal and assembly setups
- Robotic MIG welding – High-volume production
Quality Assurance
- All welders are qualified to AS/NZS or ISO welding standards
- Robotic welds are pre-programmed and tested before production
- Welds undergo visual inspection, dimensional checks, and NDT (non-destructive testing) if required
- Weld jigs ensure repeatability and part consistency
Yes, we can provide weld certificates, inspection logs, or third-party reports on request.
Production & Delivery
- Small parts: 5–7 business days
- Medium assemblies: 1–3 weeks
- Large projects or structural jobs: 4–6 weeks
Yes. We offer mechanical assembly, surface treatment, fastener installation, packaging, and dispatching as part of our full service.
We handle both custom one-off fabrication and volume manufacturing. Robotic welding is more efficient for batch work.
Design & Drawings
CAD files are preferred for accuracy and efficiency. We accept:
- DXF, DWG (for flat patterns)
- STEP, IGES (for 3D assemblies)
- PDF drawings (for fabrication details and welding symbols)
If no file is available, we can reverse-engineer from physical samples or assist with drawing creation.
Industry Applications
We fabricate for:
- Mining & agricultural machinery
- Construction & infrastructure
- Transport & logistics
- Food & hospitality equipment
- Retail fixtures and displays
- OEM equipment and parts suppliers
Yes. We are familiar with Australian and international fabrication standards including AS/NZS 1554, ISO 3834, and client-specific QA processes.
