Attard Engineering, a leading provider of precision manufacturing, metal fabrication and product-development services, is pleased to announce the commencement of construction of its new facility at Tonsley Innovation District. The company has secured a 4,238 m² site within the 61-hectare advanced-manufacturing hub — a location recognised globally as a benchmark for sustainable industrial redevelopment.
Tonsley Innovation District, located approximately 10 km south of Adelaide CBD, is Australia’s first innovation district. It brings together research institutions, start-ups, established industrial and technology companies, as well as academic and training partners. The district focuses on high-growth sectors including automation, renewable energy, medical devices, mining and energy services.
At the new site, Attard Engineering will build a modern integrated facility combining advanced CNC machining, robotic and laser metal fabrication, as well as product-development and commercialisation capabilities. This expansion reflects the company’s commitment to deliver high-precision, high-quality manufacturing solutions across end-markets such as medical, defence, energy, and industrial sectors.
Construction has already begun, with foundational works now underway. The project is expected to be completed by June 2026. Upon relocation, the expanded facility will significantly enhance Attard Engineering’s capacity and enable it to serve clients with greater efficiency, scale and reliability.
